Science Astronomy Isaac Newton Principles etc Benjamin Donn 1769 signed scarce An Epitome of Natural and Experimental Philosophy including Geography, with the Use of the Globes and of an Improved Analemma by which may be solved the Common Problems of the Celestial Globe by Benjamin Donn Hardback measuring 170mm by 100mm with 196 pages. Preface dated 1769. Apparently published by the author. 4 folding plates. Original leather binding. A very scarce original title. Benjamin Donn was a teacher of Mathematics and Natural Philosophy of the Newtonian Principles. He gave a course of lectures to subscribers, travelling to deliver them from his home in Bristol. In his Preface, Donn explains his reasons for publishing this book. The lectures are not reproduced in their entirety but this publication is intended to be a "Memorial Book to which they (his students) may have recourse to refresh their memories and fix them in their minds."
