This auction is for a Scinde 12-Panel handleless cup and a 16-panel saucer made by John and George Alcock and Company. These pieces are Circa 1839-1846 and are in remarkably good condition. The saucer has sill marks on both the front and back from the manufacturing process. It also has fine age crazing. The handleless cup has what looks like three small chips on the bottom rim, but I think they are actually a sill type triangle marks from the manufacturing drying process because I could find no other sill marks. There are no cracks, chips (other than mentioned on the cup), hairlines or discoloration on these pieces. There are some utensil marks on the pieces. The handleless teacup is 2-7/8" tall and the opening is 3-1/4" wide; while the saucer is 5-3/4" wide. Please be advised that the items I sell and love are vintage and therefore have had a previous history where the items were used. I will explain all of the defects that I see but I may miss a minor defect. International Buyers – This item will be shipped by Priority Mail only.
