This fine Scioto County,Ohio Banded Slate Tally Marked Spine Back Gorget measures 3 7/16" in length by 2 1/4" wide great dish form to backside and fine holes drilled from both sides. Nice clean Banded Slate Gorget that dates in the middle Archaic to early Woodland periods. Photos pretty well tell the whole story a few small edge nicks and piece is guaranteed to paper with any of the major players if desired.
