At 3 ¾” in total length, this little pair of buttonhole scissors are just the size for a ladies sewing basket or soldier’s housewife mending kit. All in nice original condition with an unpolished natural age patina, these attractive iron scissors are nicely marked by Civil War cutlerer / Bowie knife maker, Joseph Rogers. The cutlerer’s well known hart and pistol mark is set below the name.
