This is US Scott no. 2624-29 , the 1992 set of 6 souvenir sheets issued for the 500th Columbian Anniversary. They are fresh mint NH in the original packaging with inserts (National Postal Museum promo), as purchased from the USPS. They had been sitting safely in my stepdad's desk drawer for over 20 years. Face Value is $16.34 , but I see a few of these are now selling for over $20.00 so " too good to use for postage. "Notice to bidders: FREE SHIPPING in the US-- to other locations, this is going to be a 2oz letter, so a $3.00 shipping fee applies.A bit of background about my current auctions:My stepfather passed away in 2011 at age 93, following my mom's passing the year before. He was a stamp collector "of sorts" but in his latter years it was difficult for him to "keep up" with his collection, so his "collection" became more and more of a "pile of random stamps" than an actual collection. In some ways, he was a bit of a hoarder/accumulator, and would buy wads of old album pages with stamps on them. I started off with a couple of large moving boxes' worth and I am only part way through sorting them. Most of the stamps are pretty common, but I have found a few "gems" along the way, and there is quite a bit of material in the $5.00 to $50.00 catalogue value range.I have been slowly unraveling the mess and selling the stamps.
