NEW, LOWER BUY IT NOW PRICE! Greetings, Up for bid today is a set of Scott International Part I and Part II stamp albums. The binders, stamps and pages are in very nice condition with pages from the beginning in 1840 through 1949. This is an unmolested collection of greater than 5,200 stamps. There are only a couple of pages that have hinge a few hinge remnants where stamps may have fallen out. I did notice that the U.S. Envelope/Cut Square section had items removed, so there are hinge remnants, but that is the only section where the pages are not in excellent condition. Collection contains a very nice U.S. collection with many mint hinged stamps. There are also some loose stamps that have not been mounted. I wish I could add more pictures to show the quality of the entire collection.
Overall condition: Very nice vintage used with beautiful embossed silver lettering and decoration and minimal wear for a pair of 60 plus year old albums.
Page condition: Very nice with a substantial amount of beautifully mounted stamps. A random sampling of pictures have been added for both albums. Please note: Part I has over 3,600 stamps and Part II has over 1,500 stamps, so the majority of stamps in this collection are before 1940.
