A Beautifully Well Preserved Collection Through 1984

I am selling my own personal Scott National US Stamp Album and US stamp collection. I started collecting US stamps as a child around 1960 and continued until 1984. I purchased this album in 1976 and it contains supplements through 1984. Every stamp, souvenir sheet, and full sheet is mounted in a ShowGard mount. The collection is 100% complete from 1935 through 1984 and there is only one coil pair missing between 1930 and 1935. All stamps after 1961 are mint and there are many mint stamps prior to 1961. All souvenir sheets and full sheets are mint.

Stamps prior to around 1970 may have been previously hinged. All stamps after 1970 should never have been hinged but it is possible that there may be one or two exceptions. There are over 2000 stamps in the collection (souvenir sheets and coil pairs are counted as one stamp).

The National Album was supplied with many unique specialty pages which I removed immediately upon purchase. I still have many (or perhaps all) of those pages and they will be supplied loose. Also included are several pages that were removed as a result of their being replaced by supplements. There are no stamps on any of these loose pages. I am also including a partial pack of Scott official Blank Pages, a partial package of Scott Reinforcement Strips, and a partial package of Scott Album Filler Strips.

This auction is for the album and all of the stamps and the extras listed above. I scanned every page of the album and have the scans compiled in 21 PDF documents on the following website:

Please take the time to review the scans before bidding. The collection is being sold as-is and it is up to you to determine the value of the collection.

The physical album pages are in good condition. (Pages are single sided and heavy weight). The actual binder, protective paper cover, and heavy duty cardboard storage container are in fair condition. It has been kept in a smoke free environment.

Shipment will be via insured UPS and I will ship to the US only. It will be packed very well with bubble wrap. The final shipping weight is 13 pounds. Local pickup is available for those wishing to save on shipping.

**** NEWS FLASH: Eleven new pages and stamps added! ****
On 1/26 I found some supplement pages that had never been added to the album. They were updated pages that merged older issues. I will include these 11 pages and the stamps for those pages. It appears as though all of the stamps are there but not mounted. (Express mail stamps are not included). Please go to the website and view this new addition.
