This is for a beautiful and unique piece of colourful agate that was collected many years ago by myself. It was collected from the large sand quarry that once existed near Loudoun Hill in Ayrshire, Scotland. The colours and banding are just stunning and I never felt the need to polish this stone as you can see from the photographs. One side was cut to give a flat edge to display the fantastic banding but was never polished so I am sure it will be a nice addition to someone's collection. Size can be seen from the photographs and it is approx 3cm in depth and weighs 42g. This agate was a very lucky find in the loose shingle of the quarry as it was destined for the crusher. I will securely package and send via Royal Mail 2nd Class Recorded Delivery.
