SIZE: 12cms diameter, 15cms diameter. POSTAGE COSTS: UK is £4 for 2nd Class signed for. EUROPE IS £15GBP signed airmail. WORLWIDE IS £21GBP signed airmail. ITEM: For sale is a really well painted and quite rare Scottish arts and crafts or art nouveau pottery vase in the Glasgow School style. Decorated in a manner that is similar to wares like Foley Intarsio and even Purmerend pottery. Skillfuly painted with large flower heads, on a hand potted vase. Marked on the bottom with the initials K.Mc.G, and repeated in a painted triangular shape. Would guess it was made around 1910-20 roughly. I tried to research the maker but found no exact match, but there are similar pieces. There was a designer/paintress on one piece called M.M.Mc.Gibbon, and I wonder if she is related? Similar to Bough pottery. CONDITION: Good. No chips, cracks or restorations. A little crazing to the glaze. There is a small shallow chip on the underside of the vase. The vase is slightly off centre/a-symmetrical showing that it was hand crafted. Payment is by Paypal only. Items will be very well packed for posting. - free eBay image hosting
