Gorgeous pair hand carved door panels, made of walnut, taken off an armoire which had been custom-made for the Scottish Rite Temple on Wilshire Blvd in Los Angeles, CA. Panels are carved in a Masonic design with olive branches and some geometric shapes which will be recognizable to those familiar with the Freemasons. One panel bears the Roman Numerals, MCMXX. The panels were carved for the Temple in 1920 The second panel bears the Roman Numerals, MDCXV. 1615 seems to be a significant date in Freemason history Both panels are in good, vintage condition and measure 53 1/4" tall and 16 1/2" wide and 1/4" thick. Shipping charges include Parcel Post cost, delivery confirmation, insurance and $5 handling fee.
