This is a Scotts album with a mixture of used and MNH stamps. Only a few pages are pictured. Most of the pages and stamps are not pictured. These pages show a good sampling of what you will find. Album pages run from 1847 to the mid 60's. Most 3 and 4 cent commemoratives are there mint never hinged. There is over 25 dollars in mint postage and a United Nations collection at the end not pictured. It is an album full of surprises. I do not have the means to picture every page, nor do I want to picture page after page of 1930-1960 stamps. I recently met John, a disabled Air Force vet who has a stamp problem. He came into a rather large collection but knows little or nothing about them. He is in great need of a new porch and ramp to his trailor. This got us thinking. We will be selling many lots over the next months and see what we can do about taking care of those porch and ramp needs. 100% of profits (after ebay fees) go toward this project. Update: After a week of sales and generous bidders we are over a quarter way to our goal. During our last conversation John wanted to make it clear that people knew his disability which he struggles with now came later in his life not while he was in the service. His need is still very real (while testing his ramp personally, my foot went right through a dry rotted section). We will keep you updated on each wave of lots.
