Scott's International Postage Stamp Album, Part II 1940- 1949 Worldwide Over 4000 Stamps Included ! This is a clean album with intact pages without any left-over hing remnants. I don't think any stamps were removed. I actually counted the stamps and there are over 4000 spread out over the world's countries, but includes larger concentrations in some areas, like Germany and Russia. This is from the time period of World War II and the immediate post war period. Many countries have changed names since that time. The pages show some warping on the outer edges as shown in the picture, but otherwise in very good shape. Interesting stamps included from occupied countries, Nazi Germany, and the victorious Soviet Union. This Album covers a very turbulent period in World history which makes it a very interesting period for stamp collecting. Stamps are mint and used but, of course, all hinged.
