Nice brown tip all natural in color. Lots of extra fine details on this scrimshaw grade horn. The one pictured is the one your bidding on. In this auction I am offering 1 scrimshawed black powder horn. This horn is in new condition and has never been used and is a colonial style horn. It has a walnut wood butt plug with a turned wood strap holder on the large end and a rose wood fiddle peg on the tip. Scrimshawed borders around the base, strap ring and tip of the horn. On one side it has a standing grizzly bear and a bull moose with a mountain background. On the other side it has crossed rifles and a powder horn with a hunter star. The horn is covered with bear tracks and lots of extra detail. Its 13 1/2" long around the curve with all the hardware attached. The base diameter is 2 3/8" x 2 3/4". Natural brown tip horn that is all natural in color. Made for left side carry. Its weight is 8 1/2 ozs and is made to be used or displayed. A 72" strap is included with this horn.
