This is a brand new regulator. Bought it when I was living in california then ended up moving out to arizona. No need for this in the desert. MK 2 Plus 1'st Stage This first stage epitomizes reliability and simplicity. Its standard piston design is ideal for divers who don't want to get bogged down with an overwhelming amount of bits and pieces, but still want the peace of mind that comes with a sound piece of equipment. This first stage is equipped with SCUBAPRO's Thermal Insulating System (TIS), which will keep your first stage functioning properly, even in frigid water. The MK2 has one high-pressure port and four low-pressure ports. R190 Second Stage The R190 regulator was designed with the serious sport diver in mind; it is rugged and requires very little maintenance. This second stage's downstream highly design is dependable and ready to work. The R190 also has the user-controlled Venturi Initiated Vacuum Assistant (VIVA). The VIVA system reduces the amount of effort divers expend when breathing; this patented technology is user-managed and is available on all current SCUBAPRO second stages the R190 combines a time-tested, fourth-generation downstream design with rugged construction and dependability.
