sE Electronics sE2200a Studio Condensor Microphone with shock-mount I've owned this mic, from new, for a few months and have used it sparingly in my smoke-free home studio. The microphone has always been stored carefully in it's case when not in use. It has a very clean sound, excellent on vocals. I also have the tube version of this mic, the more expensive sE2200t, which I marginally prefer as the tube sound adds to my fairly low male voice. However the 2200a has, in my opinion, a smoother, more accurate sound overall, so it's horses for courses I guess. Wish I could keep them both, but am on a tight budget, so am reluctantly letting this one go. !
