This is steel hard hat/helmet painted to commemorate the U.S. Navy Seabees (construction arm of the Navy). This would make a great gift or wall hanging! The Helmet: This is a steel hard hat/helmet from the late 1940's/early 1950's. I have painted it in Navy battleship gray and painted the logo of the proud Seabees-builders of anything/everything needed by our fighting troops during times of war and peace. The Liner: The liner in this is near-perfect with all webbing intact and clean. The chin strap is complete with all hardware and buckles. It is adjustable and will fit on any sized head. NOTE: This is not a M1917 or M1917A1 shell. Shipping/Handling: I am a buyer as well as a seller and it makes me mad when a fellow ebayer rips me off on a good item with unfair shipping charges! I charge 50 cents for the tape and box. You only pay the exact weight fee to get it to your door by USPS Parcel Post. They are cheap, relatively fast and the most reliable shipping I've found. I've never had a single problem with them. Use the shipping calculator at the bottom of the auction site to find your exact amount and then t are no surprises. My goal is to get your item to you as cheaply and safely as possible, not make money off of you from shipping . I do not tack on any "handling fees" or "flat rate fees" that jack up your auction price unfairly read more
