This is a wonderful old hand carved 'ox bone' inuit. It is a seal that has a bucket that slides over its head. Also a carved end piece. There is a piece of leather that runs through the body, when you pull the tail end it pulls bucket over head. The tail end of leather does come through hole, not sure if it has a knot or another piece on that end originally. There is only one little chip on very back tip of tail, just on one side (see photo 5). The seal measures 4" long x 1" diameter. Great old piece!! NO RESERVE!!
