DW3243 Cypraea aurantium , 95.39mm(3.755")long x 58.90mm(2.319")wide x 49.30mm(1.941")high, F++/F+++ , Borneo : 's one Big Beautiful Golden Cowry from an uncommonly offered location. From the pictures you can see that the shell has great color. GORGEOUS !!! A definitel "MUST HAVE" cowry for the serious collector. The shell is in fine condition. The anterior and posterior tips are intact and very nicely smooth. The dorsum does have smooth stress flaws as is visible in the photos. Very typical for the species at these larger sizes. Displays wonderfully and will make a great addition of one BEAUTIFUL & BIG "CLASSIC RARE COWRY" to one's collection. Especially for those looking for shells from diferent localities.Any reflective glare or white spots are from the camera. Happy bidding. . Complete collection data will come with the shell.
