This shell is in the upper 1% of shell quality. This is the most beautiful and near perfect shell we have offered. We imported 80 of the last shells of this type to be admitted into the United States and have the license for them. These shells are now illegal to import and sell without license. This shell is in great condition with rich luster and free of breaks. The tips are sharp and near perfect. This shell must have lived a sheltered life because this quality is not normal. This beautiful specimen is 21.4 " long and weighs 6 pounds . These are extremely difficult to acquire so if you think you would ever like to have one, I suggest you get one now while they are available. We imported our shells while they were still legal and have papers from U.S, Fish and Wildlife. Today, it is illegal to import these shells so be careful not to buy illegal shells as they could be seized in shipping.
