Late Victorian Love Token slave bangle bracelet feauturing seven beautifully engraved love tokens, all of which have monograms and period decoration. All original, as found, the dimes date from 1877 to 1878 (the date on one is worn away). No superfluous drilled holes. A lovely bracelet, part of a small collection of love token jewelry I've collected over the past 30 years, including bracelets, loose coins, and a watch fob.
MEASUREMENTS: Inside, the oval bangle measures 2-1/2" by 2" with an opening of 1'. The bracelet is maleable, and could be adjusted. CONDITION: As found, in excellent, untouched vintage condition, except for being slightly asymmetrical (easily corrected). Unpolished, with a lovely patina. PAYMENT & SHIPPING: I can't invoice you until you tell me how you want your item shipped, so please contact me after the auction and let me know what you prefer. I accept PayPal, money orders and personal checks, and will ship when funds are available. I'll ship as you prefer, and insurance is required. If an insured item is lost or damaged in transit, you'll file the claim, and any refund will be made by the shipper. I charge for shipping and insurance at cost, and add a nominal $1.65 for delivery confirmation and handling. I'm happy to ship items together whenever possible to economize. I'll ship worldwide, but accept only PayPal for int'l sales and can only ship to your confirmed PayPal address. Note: if you're not comfortable with the additional $1.65 for handling and delivery confirmation, please refrain from bidding. Thanks. REFUNDS: Every effort has been made to describe any flaws or age- or use-related issues accurately, but please feel free to ask questions or to see more photos during the auction, as this is a final sale. However, I'll be glad to consider returns on an individual basis. If I agree to a return, your winning bid will be refunded if you notify me within 48 hours after delivery, and the item is returned as-shipped, in as-sold condition, within seven days after the auction ends.
