Please refer to photos.Up for auction is one (1) copy of the board game CLIMB THE NEEDLE. This board game was issued as a piece of commemorative memorabilia associated with Seattle's hosting on the 1962 World's Fair. It is billed on the side of the box as a 'SPACE AGE GAME' and is branded with Seattle World's Fair 1962 and the iconic Century 21 logo.Photos 1 through 5 are of the outside of the box along with the four corners; corners are shown simply to give buyers an adequate understanding of the shelf-wear associated with the box. Photo 6 is the reverse side of the top lid of the box. Photos 7, 8 and 9 are of the actual game board included inside the box (photos 8 and 9 are close-ups); the board fits inside the box and is not folded. Photo 10 is the reverse of this board to demonstrate none of the corners are split (the game board fits inside the box quite snugly). Photo 11 shows the inclusion of the game's instructions, four game pieces and two dice included. Photo 12 is a photo of the underside of the box, turned over.The overall game box measures approx. 19-1/2" by 10-1/4" and is about 3/4" thick. As the photos will demonstrate, all of the box corners are intact and none are split or otherwise in terrible shape.
