I offer an ORIGINAL (we don't sell copies or reproductions!!!) specimen of the very rare, large, spectacular, extremely sought after map of Africa by Sebastian Münster,which appeared in his famous "Cosmographia" around 1580. The dimensions of this wood engraving are circa 32cm X 36cm (printed area). It is entitled "Africa/Lybia...". It is one of the most sought after early maps of Africa of the second half of the XVI century, partly based on that of Ortelius, and replaced an earlier map of America in the Cosmographia. The print has several imperfections. Note the nice colors. Please, look carefully at the high resolution photos to clearly understand the view condition.
