This is a large section of airframe with green paint remains from raf spitfire.This section of airframe still has a lot of its original green paint the section has been cleaned but would clean up more with some effort and is a nice peace of battle of Britain history it is perfect for display or any collection.This part came from raf spitfire X4009 which was being flown by Australian fighter pilot ace Pat Hughes DFC who was shot down on 19/9/40 during the Battle of Britain 1940.
