NO RESERVE!! You are bidding on an absolutely gorgeous, professionally restored and working Seeburg Model M-100C jukebox. It was built around 1952. This particular model is one of the most collectible jukeboxes in the world, due to the prominent use of chrome and the curved glass design. If you're wondering why the keypad button layout looks familiar, it's because a Model 100C was featured on the closing credits for the TV show "Happy Days". Because it is set up for home use (free play - no money is needed) it is missing the coin mechanism, although you wouldn't know it by looking at the outside of the jukebox. You can watch the mechanism scan over to your selection, pick up the record, and play it. The sound is fantastic, due to the big 15" speaker and the vintage all-tube amplifier, which was rebuilt around 2005 by Bill Bickers of Jukebox Friday Night restoration services. All the tubes and capacitors were replaced at this time. Any other components that needed replacement were also replaced. Mr. Bickers also rebuilt the selection receiver. His work, along with the cabinet restoration work, was done before I bought the jukebox, and both are top-notch. The only thing I've done, other than to use it daily, is to have the record playing mechanism sent off to be disassembled and rebuilt. This jukebox is now like-new, inside and out. Folks, these jukeboxes do not come much better than this one. You and your guests will enjoy hours of entertainment from this little jewel. It was always the life of my parties. The two colored pilasters rotate to create a one-of-a-kind twisting pattern that is just breathtaking to see. The chrome is in superb condition...in fact, I just went over all of it with a flashlight, and it looks as though it has just been rechromed. The cabinet is also in like-new condition. I can't find any flaws in the oak veneer cabinet. The glass is perfect. The segmented mirror behind the record storage rack was replaced, along with the foil lining the area of the inside cabinet under the curved glass. Also, another very special thing about this jukebox is the series of glass tubes in front of the new speaker grillcloth...they have been stuffed with a mylar film to simulate the original coated-glass tubes that came from the factory. The effect is, I'm certain, very similar to the original look. I have been told that the original mirror-like tubes are no longer available, and that jukeboxes are often restored using chrome metal tubes as a substitution.T are a couple of very minor flaws that I do want to mention. When the part that holds the records was repainted the original yellow color, it wasn't a perfect paint job. It looks very nice, but if you get up close, the sheen isn't 100% consistent. T are two small scratches in the yellow paint, one about 1/8 inch and the other about 3/16 inch across. All of the light bulbs are now working (I replaced the bulb in the 100 Selectomatic Receiver mechanism). I paid $4600 for this jukebox in 2005, and have used it regularly since then. On top of my original purchase price, I paid $650 for the rebuild of the mechanism. The reason I'm selling is that I have too many jukeboxes and have to downsize. This auction is with NO RESERVE, meaning, the highest bidder will OWN this jukebox! I have done my best to make an accurate description of this exceptionally fine jukebox, but if you have any questions at all, I require you to ask before bidding. US buyers only. Your bid is a contract. Deadbeat bidders will be reported and I will leave bad feedback for anyone who does not follow through with your obligation to purchase if you are the winning bidder. I accept PayPal, or if you wish to pay with a cashier's check or money order, I will hold shipping until the cashier's check or money order clears my bank. No personal or business checks will be accepted. Although the winning bidder will pay for the shipping costs, I will, at no extra charge, crate this jukebox and coordinate with your shipper for pickup (you can either pick it up yourself or you ...
