Antique Authentic Ashkenaz Real Sefer Torah Jewish Scroll on Genuine Parchment, Galicia, Ca 1900, Judaica Antique authentic Ashkenaz real Sefer Torah Jewish scroll on genuine parchment, Galicia, Ca 1900, Judaica. The Torah was in Galicia until the WW2 and after the war it was in Israel for the last 60 years. It was hand written by a scribe in Galicia, at least 100 years ago. The Torah measures 22.8in (58cm) wide (parchment). It is written in beautiful unique style letters on vellum klaf parchment and is sewn tightly together. The Torah is complete, in a very good condition without any missing sections and until recently it was read in a synagogue. The hand writing is beautiful with big clear letters which makes it very easy to read. The Torah is listed as not Kosher but could be preserved to a Kosher condition. It has minor stains and repairs which does not affect the overall quality of the item. Comes with Eitz Chaim wood rollers (one handle is broken) and Torah mantle as seen in the pictures. Ideal Sefer Torah for any Jewish congregation or private synagogue. A superb Judaica, Jewish, Hebrew, Israel item.
