Around 1950 Roseville was looking for a way to stay current in the market and they contracted with Raymor to create a line of modern dinnerware designed by Ben Seibel. Not only were the modern shapes of the line experimental (and now recognized as hallmark innovations by Ben Seibel), but so were the glazes. The blue color, or glaze, is very rare, and to find the celery/olive of this line in the blue glaze is a rare event. This piece has no chips or cracks. T are two black glaze grit spots, one on the rim near the bowl, and one in the middle of the bowl. Condition : No chips or cracks of any kind . Black glaze grit as shown in one photo on the rim near the bowl, and another less obstrusive piece of glaze grit in the center of the bowl. Guarantee/Return : Item is guaranteed to be in condition as described, or buyer may return item for refund including the auction cost, and shipping both ways (limited to twice the seller's original shg/ins. cost.) A photo of the problem will be appreciated in that case. I will give the refund when I receive the item back. If an item is broken or lost, I will do whatever it takes to assist the buyer in making an insurance claim.
