99p start price - and NO RESERVE... This lot is for a superb Gents Seiko Automatic Scuba Diver's Watch. The model is the 7002-700A A1, from August 1991. In excellent pre-owned condition, with a really smart new Deep Green Diver's Dial, new Hands, a new 'Pepsi' style bezel insert, and a brand new aftermarket Seiko Rubber diver's strap. This classic Scuba Diver's watch has been professionally polished and regulated, and is running beautifully, keeping accurate time. The watch also has a quickset Date window, and luminous hands and markers. I've also included an instruction manual (in PDF form). Please read on. Dial New Diver's Dial, in a rich, deep Green, in perfect condition. New lume-filled Sword Hour hand, new lume-filled Arrowhead Minutes hand, new black steel needle Seconds hand, with lumed circle at tip. Signed 'SEIKO, Automatic' above centre, 'WATER 150M RESIST, 17 JEWELS' below centre, 'Made In Japan, 7002-700 L R, Suwa Lightning Flash,' at six o'clock. Reflective White baton markers instead of numbers, larger at 6 and 9, inverted Arrowhead at 12. Lume on hands is excellent, they really glow! 'Quickset' Date window at 3 o'clock. Minute markers on raised outer part of dial. Case Highly polished Stainless Steel Case in excellent condition, with light signs of use (I've had this professionally polished, and it looks very nice - there are no major marks, and only the faintest light 'swirls' may be visible). Bidirectional Steel Bezel, turns with 60 ratcheted ' Screwback caseback is very good, with minimal light 'swirls', (see photos), wording as follows: "Seiko, Stainless Steel, 7002-700A A1, Scuba Diver's, 182142, A, Lightning Flash symbol" plus the Seiko Wave logo in the centre (see Pictures). Very good overall condition. Crown Original Crown, screwdown ridged edge steel, offset at the 4 o'clock position, in good condition, with light scratches to ridged edge, screws down and adjusts correctly. Crystal Original, scratch resistant mineral glass, buffed, in excellent condition, with no visible marks of any kind (two extremely small 'hairline' marks visible under magnification). Movement Seiko signed 7002 17 Jewel Automatic movement. I had my local watchmaker inspect the movement for me. He reports it is in excellent condition, and original to the watch. I've regulated it and it is very accurate. Serial Number dates this watch to approx August 1991. Strap Brand new aftermarket Z22 Seiko Diver's rubber strap has been fitted, with a floating keeper, along with a new brushed steel buckle. Will comfortably fit a wrist size of up to 8.5" (215mm). Running condition Running, and keeping excellent time. I've regulated the movement, and tested twice on a winder, over at least 2 days each time, accurate to @ +-17 seconds per day maximum - (anything under 20 seconds a day is excellent for a vintage automatic). Measurements Width without crown - 42 mm, Lug to Lug - 45mm, depth 13 mm. Weight total 97 grams. Other - This is a very smart Seiko Diver's Automatic watch, in a large 42mm, which sits boldly on the wrist as it's 13mm thick. Even though it's on a Seiko Diver's rubber strap, it's a substantial 97 grams, and feels solid and robust, with a real wrist presence. I've regulated the 17 Jewel Automatic movement, which is working beautifully, and the watch keeps accurate time. The new Deep Green Dial and new 'Pepsi' style bezel insert go together really well, and add to the classic Scuba Diver's appearance. The luminosity of the new Hands in particular is superb. Though pre-owned, this watch really is in very good condition, with only minimal signs of any use, and has clearly been maintained well.
