SEIKO MICKEY STARBURST WATCH MENS NEW/OLD STOCK MIB
DEAD-MINT NEW/OLD STOCK W/DOCS This auction (though I don't anticipate it "hanging out" long) is for an extremely hard to find in dead-mint, new/old stock never worn flawless condition Seiko Men's Mickey Mouse Starburst Watch. Untouched from it's release 24 years ago in1987! It's in the original box in mint shape with original document/instruction manual. A used one just sold for over $200 at auction. Before I continue, please note: This watch is 100% all-original mint, no replacement bracelets or crystals, no mis-matched boxes or papers, as if you'd bought it at the Park in 1987 and drove it home and put it in a safe. it is ALL ORIGINAL NEW/OLD STOCK 1987. Now, find that statement anywhere else on the Bay! See any others with close-ups of the clasp or the side of the case but mine? No you don't! Anyone else offer to send you pics of other angles? I will! Any of the back case? You can see mine! No scratches from sloppy battery changes, nothing!. Pay attention folks, this is the only mint new/old stock all-original Starburst on the Bay period! Read every other listing after you read this one. Where do I start? One has a swapped out box and a deep scratch in the back case, you can see scratches all over the crystal and the bid is near $200 with days to go... says it's all new! Another is completely reconditioned, crystal, band replaced, another says new and mint but aside from some scratches it's new, but hey, you get a tag? What the...? Two have black felt boxes? The last one actually states that it's new/mint, but says if you see flaws in the photo, then that is in fact it's actual condition? Seriously? My personal favorite is one shot with 2 totally different backgrounds, the main photo is hours different than the gallery pic, yup, stock image of a $400 watch. Stop wasting your time and money, you can't buy this in new/old stock condition for $200, the dealers gobbled those up long ago and they were $235. Finding one in this state is almost impossible to do, add to that the original box and documents and a great price and you have the collectible Mickey watch you've been searching for at a price you'll smile about later when you see what they go for. One sold for $495 last month, no box, others in the mid $300's and none were new/old stock. I'll take the Pepsi challenge against every other one on the Bay now, see for yourself! (if you can see theirs, that is, the others I've seen are shot from Cleveland or stock images I see every week (not cool) or they use flashy descriptors like "gorgeous, beautiful, mint", but then they don't show you their watch in-focus? Like anyone older than 7 can't shoot a clear photo with a digital camera. These watches are by far one of the most popular Mickey Mouse wrist watches ever made, even used ones with wear and no box or papers can command well over $200, and a new/old stock can sell for up to $500, so here's a very, very reasonable below market value buy it now if you'd like one. I'm $150+ below it's typical selling price when it's actually new/old stock, and the last one for $500 had no box. I sell watches to "boutique" collector websites at my low prices and they then list them for a lot more, but I really like my stuff to go to collectors, (it's the romantic in me) Yes, their money is just as green, but I like the idea a collector will actually enjoy my finds and not end up on a store shelf for hundreds more and out of the reach of many true fans. PLEASE NOTE: Take a moment and do your homework people, see some of those sellers who sold one last week have the same photo of the one they're selling this week? One of those sellers sold a "mint new/old stock" Starburst last month and used my photo of a used one I sold the week before for $175! I immediately contacted Ebay and they didn't pull the listing before it ended with a sale 3 days later. Someone bought a "new" Starburst with a photo of my used one. Don't get me wrong, the watch I sold was very nice, but it was used and valued at hundreds less than a new/old stock...
