Seikosha Octagonal Schoolhouse Wall Clock

A beautiful little Schoolhouse wall clock by the Japanese company Seikosha, which ultimately became Seiko. The case has a walnut finish with a painted black ring surrounding the dial and bezel area. The dial is in almost perfect condition as is the entire case. Striking the hour and half hour on a spiral gong inside the case, it would fit nicely into your kitchen or family room. The American style time and strike movement was copied by Seikosha from movements made by companies like Seth Thomas and Waterbury. It needs to have its two mainsprings wound only once a week, although it will run much longer than that on a full wind. Its a good timekeeper and with its traditional style schoolhouse case looks good on any wall. Fully restored by me, a Certified Clockmaker of the AWI, this clock, like all clocks I offer, comes with a full 1 year warranty. Please feel free to email me with any questions.
