Up for bid is a beautiful handpainted, signed Seltmann Weiden Bavaria coffee pot pattern Gloria made ca 1949. This is in mint condition AAA , no chips cracks, crazing or wear. Christian Wilheim Seltmann opened his first factory with his brother in 1901 and continued on opening his own factory after WWII. Check the PM&M website for more info. The coffee pot is 9 1/2 " tall and 9 1/2" from spout to end of handle. It's decorated with beautiful pastel yellows, purple, green pansies and leaves on body and lide. The handle is ornate scroll gold gilt as is the lid top and inner spout. The shape is square rounded design with scalloped top edges and same ornate top. The spout is perfect and very graceful design. Absolutely perfect and lovely in every detail. Rare to have a piece from t his factory signed which is on both base and inner lid. Flat rate shipping to domestic is $16.00 which I used by the USPS calculator. This is a delicate piece and will need to be packed very carefully. I pay for insurance.
