Full Title: "A Semitranslucent 3 13/16" Late Paleo Knife Point Recovered from Florida!" Extremely well made! Glossy agate that has been very well polished and patinated dark olive green in color!! Type: Late Paleo Knife Blade ( rare )- Late Paleolithic (estimated 10,800 years y.b.p.) *Please, note "dressed out bulb of percussion" which is illustrated in photo # 5 and diagnostic for type. Length: 3 13/16" Grade: G-9.5 Material: Very well polished and patinated semitranslucent agate that is light/medium and dark olive green in color verging on black! Gem green agate is second to few fine stones in desirability!! Provenance: Suwannee County, Florida x-Fuller. Description (Opinion ): An extremely well made Late Paleo (rare) unifacial knife. This particular example clearly exhibits a "dressed out bulb of percussion" and very fine flaking from a median ridge on it's dorsal side! Made of semitranslucent dark olive green "gem" agate that is approaching "jadeite" in quality!!
