You are bidding on a beautiful SephardiSefer Torah . This is a complete Torah scroll that was written entirely by hand on parchment in a Sephardic font! The lettering/ketav is a unique style that is not like the Mishnah Berurah, and it is clear and black with no fading anyw in the sefer. From the looks of it, the whole sefer is very consistent, and seems to have been written by one scribe throughout. In a small number of places the writing was made with a narrower kulmus. This sefer would make a lovely addition to the collection of anyone who appreciates Judaica . The parchment is clean and crisp, and it is lightly mashoach. The ink is in very good condition, and has not reddened or faded at all with time. It does show minor signs of aging that can only be expected with an older sefer, and I am not listing the sefer as kosher. However, I do have a letter from a sofer stating that it could be made fit for kosher readings for a great deal less than the cost of a new sefer. Judge for yourself from the scans; it is quite a striking item. A Sefer Torah is a very holy object, and tfore this auction is meant only for serious Jewish bidders who will give it the deep respect that it deserves. The item comes with rollers that include Hebrew inscriptions. If requested, I can send the winner a used mantle (speak to me afterwards to arrange read more
