Casehardened bar-in-wood action. Hidden third fastener. Bar action locks. Low hammers. Action, hammers, and locks engraved with very fine foliate scroll and bouquets. Percussion fences. Finely checkered straight grip stock of highly figured contrasting walnut. Drop points. Silver oval with monogram. Checkered butt with engraved scalloped heel and toe plates. Checkered splinter fore-end with Anson style release. Later brown leather trunk case with brass corners and nickel-silver fastener. Green baize interior with later maker`s label.
