KG London and Calcutta. 1/2 inch wide file-cut rib with spear front sight on a replaceable ramped base and standing rear sight marked 150 with folding leaf marked 250. Rib with doll`s head extension. Case-hardened Anson & Deeley boxlock action fully engraved with fine floral details, Maker`s banner and game scenes: left side: tiger attacking a large boar, right side: leopard killing an antelope, and triggerguard: running buffalo. Action marked: Anson & Deeley Patent. Webley patent screw grip action. Sculpted fences. Disc-set strikers. Extractors. Triggerplate mounted intercepting safety. No external safety. Finely checkered pistolgrip stock of highly figured contrasting walnut with cheekpiece. Drop points. Silver`s type recoil pad. Gold oval with eagle and the letters H.S. Case-hardened gripcap with floral details. Sling eyes. Finely checkered splinter fore-end with panels at rear. Lever fore-end release. Period oak and leather trunk case with brass corners and hardware. Reblocked with placed green baize interior. Replacement later maker`s label. Case with possible later medallion with same inscription as stock oval. Implements include: Brass capper/de-capper, powder measure marked 160 grs., and two later turnscrews, later nickel silver oil bottle, later snap caps and later cleaning rod. Modern reloading dies.
