Serial no. 954730, .44-40 caliber, 20-inch barrel with pedestal front sight and two-leaf folding rear sight. Barrel with hi-polish blued finish; magazine with satin blue finish. Frame factory-engraved, the left side with scene of hunter shooting an elk and framed in floral scrolls; the right side with bear portrayed perched on a rock surrounded by floral scrolls borders. Floral scroll details on lever, tang and on buttplate. Saddle ring. Flip-up Lyman tang-mounted peep sight. Checkered deluxe walnut stocks. Pistolgrip buttstock. Crescent butt. Sold together with original typed and notarized letter of provenance dated September 3rd, 1998 from David M. Ulrich attesting to the fact that this rifle was made for his father Leslie Borden Ulrich and was factory-engraved by his cousin Alden George Ulrich. 25000 - 35000
