This silver certificate has been written on as you can see in the photos. My best guess as to what it says is " Lake Vienna .C , Jan 1st 1898, 60/?,Happy New Year(along the bottom). To the best of my knowledge, this writing on the bill is original to the date of 1898. This is from my personal collection started in the 1950's and I stopped collecting in the late 60's, put the collection away and have deceided to sell now. Thanks for looking, ask questions and I will respond. Will combine shipping to your benefit. Note added 03/09/13: The area on the bill that looks like it might be torn or taped is actually a fold in the paper. I did not attempt to undo this for fear of furthur damage.This most clearly show in close-up photo of left hand side taken from the face side.
