Three piece 19th C, Continental hallmarked silver serving set consisting of a bowl, undertray and tongs. The bowl has six panels with fine reticulated decoration of lovebirds in circular cartouche with floral swag, set on three scrolled legs, 6''H x 7 1/4''DIA. The undertray has the same decoration with single birds, 11 1/4''DIA. The tongs have floral decoration in a shield shape, 6''L, all pieces are marked with crown and 800 mark, 38 ozt, good condition. From a South Portland, Maine home.
