Description A very special set of 10 antique black glass buttons with silver luster and brass U-shanks; a few still have their original metallic red and blue overpainted dots, as seen in the images; the rest could be painted to match, if desired. These button have imitation marcasite rims and must have really sparkled with candles or gaslight. I think they're even prettier in person. They measure about 9/16" and are in very good condition - perfect for an antique clothing restoration project. Please note the photos are enlarged to show detail. Terms of Sale and Shipping All store button purchases, both US and International, ship for the single highest postage fee listed.
