Description: Offered is a beautiful lot of dinner plates with scalloped edges, stunning gold gild detail, and image in the center of a Victorian couple courting. Each plate is 10.5" across and is marked as shown on the reverse a man on horseback and in gold lettering "Limoges French Decoration Hand Painted Warranted 22 Carat Gold". This is a very nice set with beautiful detail and no cracks to note. Shown, there is wear to the gilding and some clear glaze pops on the reverse from production. A fresh estate find!
