UP FOR AUCTION I HAVE A COMPLETE SET for TWELVE of GALERIA OPUS BLACK DISHES by MIKASA - JAPAN! This 75-piece set includes 12 dinner plates; 12 salad plates; 12 soup/salad bowls; 12 cups; 12 matching saucers; 6 place mats; 1 serving bowl; 1 salt and pepper shaker set; 1 butter dish with lid; 1 cream pitcher; 1 sugar bowl with 2 lids. I have no idea why t is an extra lid for the sugar bowl, but t is one. Interestingly it fits the coffee cups, so I guess you could use it to keep a cup warm, but just tuck it away in case... This set has been in its original box - never used. If you look up on any of the replacements sites, you'll see that, if sold individually, these pieces are a bit pricey, so purchased as a set would be a great way to get a wonderful buy.As you can see from one of the photos taken of the bottom of one of the pieces, this durable china goes from oven to table and is microwave and of course, dishwasher safe. The rich black color was very difficult to capture in the photographs, but it is ink black - shiny and with a beautiful calla-lilly design. The cups are nicely sized and feel good in the hand - nicely weighted and balanced. Please take advantage of the extra large photographs I arranged to have available.
