I am listing some Nice Quality Old and Vintage Glass and China Items this week. is a Set of 12 Lovely 1932 WELLESLEY COLLEGE SCENIC BLUE & WHITE WEDGWOOD DINNER PLATES. They are 10-1/2" diameter . Pretty Plates with Relief of College Crest and Oak Leaves around borders. EIGHT of the plates have no imperfections to pottery. THREE ("Severance Hall"; "Stone and Olive Davis Halls"; and "Founder's Hall") each have a small knick to the outer rims (minor- not sure about flat unglazed area on underside of rim of Founder's Hall Plate if made that way or shallow chip?- see very last photo), and ONE ("The Hazard Quadrangle") has a larger shell chip mostly around the underside of rim but going over to edge (see last photos for all four of these areas). No other chips or cracks or repairs I see. The other Plates show "The Chapel"; "Hetty H.R. Green Hall"; "Tupelo Point"; "Claflin Hall"; "The President's House"; "College Hall"; "Alumnae Hall"; and "Tower Court". All dated 1932. Light utensil wear on plates, but nothing bad. Only crazing I see is just a few light clear crazing lines on "Founder's Hall" plate (mostly on the backside). Nice Set fresh out of a local home. I am keeping this set together for sale. Look for my other nice quality items I am listing as well. See listing for payment and shipping details. Feel free to email me with any questions. Thanks for looking!
