WHAT A LOVELY ANTIQUE ONE OFF SET! IT IS OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY. And most eye catching too. I have never seen a set like this before and decided against splitting it up.This is exactly as it came in to me. Comprises 12 teaspoons,a caddy spoon,a sugar shovel and a pair of suagr tongs!! Here we have a quite exceptional and quite lovely and huge solid silver set of terrific gauge and weight.Hallmarks are deep and clear. It is assayed in Sheffield and dated 1895-year letter c.It has a maker's mark for William Gallimore & Sons and they are very good quality makers. Fully hallmarked to each lovely spoon. This is a lovely late Victorian lot and a must have. A really delightful and highly unusual set! The length of each teaspoon is 5.5 inches,the caddy spoon is 4.375 inches,the sugar spoon/shovel is 5.25 inches and lastly the tongs are 5.25 inches.And their combined weight is a ridiculous 501 grams (16.10 troy ounces). This lovely set is of exceptional quality and each is a most delightful piece of tea silver. Pattern is one of the most popular of all being KINGS DOUBLE STRUCK. A highly special and collectable set thus. The condition is PRISTINE and the bowls are of perfect shape.Each is unengraved and always has been,definitely no erasures either.They look barely used in fact. Please note that i have listed many other good items of both modern and antique silver,please do have a look. A truly beautiful and most wonderful scarce lot. Would be ideal as a very special present perhaps? PERFECT FOR USE ALL YEAR ROUND,DINE IN REAL STYLE!
