Set of 1960s Zetor Tractor Farming Agriculture Pins Product Description : Set of 1960s Zetor Tractor Farming Agriculture Pins In total around 500,000 Zetors have been made since the very first one, (a Model 25) rolled off the assembly line on March 15th, 1946. They have been sold to over 100 countries. These particular pin badges are from the 1960s as the pins lack the clear plastic coating applied in the 1970s over the enamels to protect them. They have stick pin fasteners and are approx 1cm wide.Zetor started life sharing the factories of Ceska Zbrojovka, the Czechoslovak armaments producer. The communists took over the country after WW2 and there was little demand for weapons , but a grand agricultural plan had been drawn out, so Zetor used the machinery facilities of Czech weapons factories. Here is a link to The Zetor Website in English.
