Another SPECTACULAR Surviving lot up for Auction from the Family Patriarch who was one of the Founding Members of the SCTA Southern California Timers Association who raced their Hot Rods on the Dry Lake Beds of Southern California which starting in 1946 after WWII.. This lot is a MATCHING PAIR of 1934 California License Plates that once hung on one of his Roadster Racers.. BOTH Plates are a Little Rough.. Each Plate measures 14" x 6-1/4".. at one time in the history of the plates were spray painted on back of plates glossy black .. plates are dusty..dirty..some dings..dents..mostly very outside edges..surface rust and tarnish..FRONT OF PLATES NEVER SANDED ~RE~TOUCHED or RE~PAINTED or RE~FURBISHED.each plate has a few very small pin/pencil head sized drill holes in them...They WILL CLEAN~UP NICE and PERFECT for RESTORATION..
