Set of 36 Pieces of Lindt-Stymeist Craftworks Dinnerware in Ebony - Place Setting for 8 plus Extras Set of 36 Pieces of Lindt-Stymeist Craftworks Dinnerware in Ebony - Place Setting for 8 plus Extras Up for sale is 36 pieces of Lindt-Stymeist Craftworks Dinnerware in Ebony. You will receive eight 4-pc place settings plus 4 serving pieces. I acquired this lot of dinnerware and servingware from an estate sale. I do not know the history of its usage or its origins. All of these pieces are in the Ebony pattern. Please note that Lindt-Stymeist makes a different black-colored pattern named Piano. I believe the main distinguishing factor of this Ebony pattern is the speckling of brown throughout the black. These 36 pieces of Lindt-Stymeist Ebony dinnerware appear mostly black in color with speckling of brown throughout. They are not a solid color. They are somewhat glossy. There is no texture. The Craftworks series is hand-crafted in Japan, in small batches. As such, there are inconsistencies in the pattern from piece to piece. Some pieces will appear lighter than others because of differences in the speckling. There are also imperfections such as slight waviness and small bumps in some pieces. These imperfections are from the factory and add to the "hand-crafted" appeal. You will receive the following 36 pieces of dinnerware:Number - Name - Measured Dimensions (8) 12oz. Round Tall Mug - 3-3/8" diameter, 4-3/8" high (8) 11-1/4" Dinner Plate - 11-1/8" diameter (8) 8-1/4" Salad Plate - 8-1/4" diameter (8) 6" Bowl - 6-1/2" diameter, 2-1/4" high (2) 12" Platter - 12-1/8" diameter, 2-1/8" high (1) 8" Bowl - 8" diameter, 3-5/8" high (1) 10" Bowl - 10-1/4" diameter, 3" high Condition Notes: Overall, the 36 pieces are in at least good used condition. Outside of scratches from utensil use, there is not much evidence of wear. There are no chips or cracks in any of the pieces. There is no evidence of crazing. 12oz. Round Tall Mugs - Four out of the eight mugs have swirl marks or scratches, consistent with utensil use. The other four do not have many apparent use marks. 11-1/4" Dinner Plates - There are noticeable scratches in the wells of the plates, consistent with utensil use. 8-1/4" Salad Plates - There are noticeable scratches in the wells of the plates, consistent with utensil use. 6" Bowl - Five out of the eight bowls have scratches, consistent with utensil use. The other three do not have many apparent use marks. 12" Platter - One out of the two platters still has a retail sticker on it. It looks to be unused. The other platter does have some use marks in the well. 8" Bowl - There are some light scratches in the well. 10" Bowl - There are some light scratches in the well. UPS may leave the delivery package, unattended, at your door. If your delivery location is not secure, please request Signature Confirmation. There will be no extra charge but you will have to sign for the package. If you do not request Signature Confirmation, the online confirmation of delivery by UPS will be the final proof of delivery. Returns: There are no returns. I will guarantee that all 36 pieces will arrive in undamaged condition. This lot will ship out in three to four large sized boxes. I expect the shipping costs, one-way, to be from $100 to $150, dependent on transit distance. Due to the high shipping costs and the fragile nature of the dinnerware, I cannot accept returns for this listing.
