Up for your consideration is this neat old set of antique Queen Anne chairs. Each of them measures approx 40" tall and the seats are about 16" deep and 16" wide. This is an old set and t is an old original tag on the underside of some of the seat bottoms that reads "Manufactured by the G.W.S. Cabinet Factory, Pelaw-ON Tyne". Now, as you can see, they do need some new fabric but everytime I try picking something you guys all go "ooohhh~ who picked that ugly fabric"?? So, I figured I would just save myself the work & let you cover them anyway! Pretty easy chore with a staple gun in hand you know. ;o) Oh, they do have a few "age earned marks of distinction" (i.e. bumps & scrapes) as you can see but then again, they are old & they are still pretty nice & sturdy. I see one slight crack/repair on one of the uprights. Looks like they caught it before it got all the way & re-glued her. Hey, my job is to point out every flaw I can find~~ it's your job to find the "diamonds in the rough" & be able to recognize them. ;o) Nice old set of chairs & I'll bet ya that's horse hair inside those covers. :O) Shipping can be figured to you with the calculator below BUT do be aware~~ that is set up for ups shipping on 2 chairs packed together. If we use UPS the shipping would be about double whatever the calculator shows. I know~~~ ouch hu?? That means~~ do not pay attention to any invoice ebay sends out automatically after the sale! I will contact you & send you a revised invoice after we determine the actual cost and method of transport. Now, if you can give me some time to get them out, we could use the bus & that would be considerably cheaper. We live an hour and a half from a station but I do go up that way every other friday. Oh yea~~ local pick-ups are welcome of course!! Please do save me the agony & expense of packing these! :O) Please do email me if you have any other questions. I will combine multiple wins to save you money and charge you exact shipping for the parcel or parcels as the case may dictate. With UPS it's really not the weight that kills ya~~ it's letting that box go into an "oversize" catagory!! It just kinda doubles & triples as you cross those OS1, OS2, & OS3 size limitations. ;o) Kinda breaks down like this~~ anything we can safely stuff in a box the stays under 84" length + girth, goes rather cheap. That would be like a 16"x 20" x 12" package. I keep alot of that exact size box in stock & you can fit alot of small items safely in a box that size. Yep, I been doing this for awhile. :O) Oh and just one more thing~~I do know how to pack my stuff so that it gets t intact & I have been known to spend the same amount of time and effort packing a $10 piece that I lost $$ on as I do packing a $1000 piece with glee in my eyes. :O) Thank you very much for looking, good luck & happy Ebay ventures to you!!!Please check my feedback folks !!!
