You are bidding on a set of 4 matching vintage Franciscan bowls in the Apple design . These are the medium (cereal, soup, salad) ones, measuring 6 inches across and 1 3/4 inch tall. They all have the Franciscan "Flying F" logo. T are some tiny scuff marks on the bottom that appear to be a tool mark that occurred in the manufacturing process. The mark is identical on three of the bowls. The 4th bowl has one very small black spot inside-looks like a small particle that was captured t during the original enameling process. I see no signs of chipping, wear, or damage. They seem to be in mint condition .Note: I have another E-Bay listing for 4 other bowls that match this set but are a little older. In both auctions, photos are of the actual 4 bowls you will receive, if you win. All of my Franciscan pieces are from the same person. It looks like she purchased the various items over a period of several years--perhaps adding pieces or replacing broken ones. I am not an expert in these things, but you can learn more for yourself, if you wish. Right in E-bay search on "franciscan apple." On the left side of the results screen that comes up, t will be links to some detailed information about Franciscan history and what the different logos mean.
