Youare bidding on Slide Set # 56 – 89 comprised of 200 - 35 mm slidesof railroads, trains and related subject matter. There are a mixture of original and duplicate slides in this set, both Kodachrome and Ektachrome slides. Many slide in this set are originals. There are NO red border Kodachrome or RGB slides in this set. The theme of this set is “Calendar Shots” with many of the slides being that of calendar quality compositions and subject matter. Here are no roster shots or detail shots of locomotives in this set. This is a wonderful set of images that I hate to see go, fantastic views of railroads and trains, some of which no longer exist. This is general mix of railroad and trains scenes in this set from locations around the United States with a few (6 or 7 slides) from Europe of ICE and SNCF. Some of the railroads in this set include DRG, DRG&W, P&LE, Conrail, IC, CB&Q, Union Pacific, GN, BN, Amtrak, ATSF, PRR, FEC, N de M, Erie, C&NW, MILW, NYC, SR, NS, Reading, WM, B&O, EL, Alaska, SP&S, 4449, WP&Y, MKT, Monon plus many others.
