eddintheclouds antiques This lovely set of arts and crafts dining chairs date to around 1900 and are constructed in solid English oak. The carved backs have a real Scottish Glasgow School look to them and are beautfully styled. With two carvers and four side chairs these would make a great addition to any home. One chair has the plate for a Chippenham Based Retailer which being on the corner of the Cotswolds I wonder if these were produced by someone within the circle of the Cotswold School? approx size...... carvers- 60cm wide x 63cm deep x 109cm high sides- 45cm wide x 53cm deep x 101cm high seats 49cm high Condition...... Please see photos for best report of condition. These are in lovely condition overall with no woodworm, rot or damage and all the joints are tight. One chair back has had a split repaired but all are quite strong. The seats are covered with faux leather with the sides material possibly replaced much more recently than the carvers. The carver seats could be recovered to match easily but are quite usable. delivery...... You are of course more than welcome to collect or I can help get quotes for delivery.
