Set 4 Antique Majolica Green Grape Leaf & Vine Plates 9" Rich Color Beautiful! Description A gorgeous set of 4 antique vintage green majolica 9" plates in a grape leaf and vine pattern that depicts 3 central leaves attached by a vine to leaves resting on a stippled background. Bottom surfaces have rings of dark green. Believed to have been made in England in the 19th Century. All are slightly different in tone and weight but all have a rich green color with a shiny and irridescent glaze. All have firing flaws (glaze pops and marks on the bottom from the process) and some glaze rubs. One has chips around the base. Hard to find 4 nice matching plates! Check out my other items !
